Covenants, Curses, Sin, etc.
There are many things that can come up in a scan that we will briefly describe here.
Ungodly Dedication – Christians are aware of the church practice of being dedicated to God, yet many are not aware that this is an ancient practice not restricted to the Bible. Our instructions to dedicate our children, household, etc to God come from the Torah so it’s important that we practice this in our lives in accordance with the way we see in scripture. A dedication is ungodly when it is done to the service of another God or an institution that is based on ungodliness. Examples include Freemasonry, Roman Catholicism, Mormonism, etc. Dedications can be individual or on the bloodline. Dedications can go back thousands of years to now-forgotten deities, places, groups, etc.
Ungodly Covenant – Our entire faith is based on YHWH’s foundation of covenant – without a covenant we would be in total despair. Covenants are bonding agreements that often were enforceable by death if broken. We can be in covenant or agreement/relationship with other people and entities. Marriage is an example of covenant and so are certain working contracts. A covenant is ungodly when it enjoins us to a person, system, entity that is not part of YHWH’s plan for our life. Many people don’t realize that sex, communion in the Catholic Church, military contracts are covenants and may need to be addressed in prayer to be released from.
Generational Curse – These are consequences to sin that pass down from generation to generation. Common examples are alcoholism and homosexuality – sins that are medically considered to be genetic – but the Bible calls it iniquity visited on the 3rd to 4th generation if not totally repented of.
Cursed Item or Harmful Place, Person, Item – In the Bible, we see items that are “accursed” and bring destruction to those who hold them. A cursed item can be something that has been demonically charged with harmful energy or an item that was used in the commission of an ungodly act and therefore not suitable to be in our possession. Some common items are trinkets from other countries that were fashioned after false gods, items for witchcraft such as ouji boards, masonic Bibles and protection amulets, rosary beads and statues of saints. A harmful place, person or item is just what is says. There can be places, people and things that are just not beneficial to us. An example of a harmful place is a yoga center.
DHS (Dead or Disembodied Human Spirit) – In the Bible, we read about what happens to a soul who dies. Until the resurrection of Yeshua, there was one holding place called Sheol that had 2 separate regions. Hades for those who died outside of fellowship with the Creator, and a place of paradise (Abraham’s Bosom) for those who died in fellowship with the Creator. When Yeshua arose from the dead, so did those who died and were being comforted in Abraham’s Bosom. It is our understanding that now, the spirit of those who die in Messiah, are gathered to His presence. Those that die in rebellion are still being held in Sheol. This is what happens to MOST people. However, there is evidence suggesting that, in some circumstances, a person can die with such personal and generational fellowship with occult practices that they can continue to have access to the land of the living. We see this in scriptures that describe “covenants with death”, “covenants with Sheol”, the witch of Endor who had access to the realm, etc. Some of the ways this issue manifests is through “past life memories, dreams, etc”, seeing or sensing dead relatives, etc. Unfortunately, speaking to Mary and “the saints” is a “christianized” practice stemming from this reality.
A disembodied Human Spirit usually refers to people who do astral travel, remote viewing, etc. These are practices described in the Bible and, at times, experienced by the saints, however, we do not endorse seeking these experiences since most of the people involved in this today are occultically inspired.
Unconfessed Sin – If an individual or generational sin such as pride, fear or wicked speech is indicated, take the time to really ask Yah, through the work of the Holy Spirit, to show you what you inherited via your bloodline or what you might have offended Him with currently or in the past. Many people are suprised when something like “bloodshed” comes up since the majority of our clients have never killed anyone. However, not only did Yeshua NOT put an end to the law of Yah, He actually raised the bar on keeping Yah’s instructions when He said things such as, “You have heard that our ancestors were told ‘don’t murder’…but I tell you, don’t even be angry with someone…” (my paraphrase). Yeshua was taking the physical law and applying the spiritual to it – it’s easy to not murder someone, but it feels impossible to not call someone a jerk, be angry or curse someone at times. If you are unsure of why an item came up in a scan, find verses that address it, pray for revelation from the Holy Spirit, ask people close to you if they see something that maybe you don’t. At times, I have been led to repent of something that didn’t resonate with me, only to discover weeks or months later the reason it came up on my scan.
FOS – This refers to the fruit of the spirit and indicates that your body wants to develop more of that fruit. Refer to the Overman Card Set in previous module.
